Ingredients
1blockfirm tofupressed
3-4red chilis
2clovesgarlic
zest of 1 lime
juice of 1 lime
⅛cbrown sugarpacked
1tspsalt
Instructions
In a food processor or with a mortar and pestle combine the chili, garlic, lime zest and juice, brown sugar, and salt until the chilis and garlic are minced and a thin paste is formed.
Cut the pressed tofu into 4 slabs then generously coat the tofu with the chili paste.
Place the tofu on a hot grill or cast iron griddle and cook until the tofu releases easily, about 5 min. Flip the tofu and cook again another 3-5 minutes.
Once cooked remove from the grill, serve over rice or with grilled veggies, and enjoy!
